Silver Rose Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Silver Rose

Rating: 4.0

Forty words:

We have seen the rapeseed yellow

beneath an azure sky.

We have seen the purple heather

and red admiral butterfly...

gazing o'er the distant hills

we see Wordworth's daffodils.

But where the floribunda grows

there is not one silver rose.
