Silver Whispers Of Winter Poem by Valentin Gabriel Cristea

Silver Whispers Of Winter

Silver whispers of winter,
warm the sun up that he is cold
make to grow up rich fruits
under the counterpane of the snow on the plain,
strenghten in the faith mountains and hills
with manes that rejuvenated and full of life spring have come
over all the people.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Deidre Dixon 25 January 2006

This poem, for me, was delightful because I am not very fond of Winter and it brought with it the encouragement of the coming Spring season. It reminded me that even though it is Winter, the snow and cold are only there to preserve, while rejuvenation and new life will be coming forth shortly.
