Silvered Light. Poem by Fay Slimm

Silvered Light.

Rating: 5.0

Phosphorescent bands of silver bright
Across romantic
................. night-borne
Still and silent sea,
.......................... informing
Me that beauty such as this lies
Deep in eyes of love,
................ binding
Souls as friends for all of life.

A part of true romance is the right
Of love to take it's course,
................ yet may
We mortals never have a say
In what strange moonlight
...................lays in trust?
Within our minds
................. silver stranded lustre
Shines it's willful way
..................despite our plight.
