Simple Things In Life Poem by Kenyetta Terry

Simple Things In Life

All I want is the simple things in life.
Fancy cars, clubs and bars, that
Ain't my style. I'm only a kid for just
A little while.

All I want is the simple things in life.
I need to go to school, and follow
Each and every rule. Not tryin to be
A fool, but do what I do.

All I want is the simple things in life.
My sugar sweet dimples, all the niggas
Want me. They can't see, the part of me
That's smart within me.

All I want is the simples in life.
Materialistic stuff, yeah I like, but that don't
Impress me. Niggas think that's what it
Takes to undress me.

All I want is the simple things in life.
Fancy cars, clubs and bars, that
Ain't my style. I'm only a kid, but
For just a little while!
