Simpleton Simpleton Poem by Kenneth Muhangi

Simpleton Simpleton

'The morning broke fast today,
the night shy when it last saw
my queen lost to the stars,
then when my heart took leave,
felt the quiver that was her hand,
this hour had seen me lost,
far from home where the sun might be,
just a lowly breeze that catches my gaze,
listen to when i break a sweat,
my lips part only when they should,
as this tale unfolds sublime,
my sanity braves the deed,
silence at last finds its way,
but what is said lingers like a fog,
when to forget, iam but a servant,
who dreams of glory and stories of awe,
leave me be only when i stare,
as she flicks her hair and frowns her brow,
is love what awaits me,
passionate embrace and neverending kiss,
let me feel how it is to blush,
as i cuddle her breasts,
and mount her essence,
intoxicate me, i ask my queeen,
today was fast and saw me cry,
but now this moment seeks no end,
introduce yourself and we shall be,
my night saw you near and just had to have,
let me be what makes you smile......'
