Simplicity Poem by Henry Nii Ayi Cobblah

Simplicity

Sounds of shame
effect of immortality
sense of eternity
knowledge of the self impossed mind

man, a death of the flesh
spirit, a life of the soul
mind, an overflow ofemotions
life...vanity a it peak

labour of the flesh
sweat of the blood
gains of the heart
death of the flesh

in the midst of the skies
a dream it will appear
as life of the old is lived aright
and a new is well done

redefining creativity
crativity in the sense of the mind
minding the business of the heart
heart to show what the soul feels

labour to the unborn
yet born to predestination
gains i wonder who inherits it
laughter to the simiple mind

simple mind it is
of wisdom from the almighty
vanity all of life seems to be
under the sun, vanity it is

why the rush
why the toil and pain
is it because pain show gains
life and gains seperate, simple it is to live.
