There are things I'll never understand

Like how the stars shine so brightly
or how the lightning bugs come out nightly

...When you meet someone amazing
or how a mocking bird sings

...How ice cream cones in the summer taste so sweet
or why you can never remember everyone you meet

...Why the best rain is a summer rain
or why people think the only thing to drink is champagne

There is a thing out there that will give you all the answers... science
But to me it's more common sense

It's simply magic
To change it would be tragic
