Simply You Poem by Beau Jordan

Simply You

I took a stroll across the sand
a leisure lope along the strand
and felt the warmth and smiling sun
And thought of you amidst the fan

from seas of foamy greenish blue
The gulls sang songs amidst the hues
and everything seemed so in sync that
I relaxed and made me think...

That pressures come and pressures fade
and stressors rob me every day… Yet
in the brink of angers net… the hard times
cause me to reflect, upon the stillness soft, serene…

Of stolen moments heavenly..
They light my life an spark a flame
that burns inside and builds a frame
To endure the wild worldly chill

the weathered reams
the noise and swill
and forge instead a quiet peace
Without—Within an oft release

into the silent chambered heart
where all that’s left is lonely true-
An good an love an beauty rise
This place defined is simply: You
