Sing the Songs That Were Never Sung

sing the songs that never were sung
this way you can never be undone
roam fields that were never harvested
this way you will never be divested
climb heights that never have been seen
this way your life will be a scream,
fight the battles that were never fought
this way you will be self taught
move to a rhythm all of your own
that way you'll never be cloned
find friends in people who were never befriended
that way you'll never be apprehended
work with an energy that has never been seen
despite your faults you will sometimes seam keen
find joy in all things simple and small
that way you'll stand 10 feet tall
