Siren Of The Night Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

Siren Of The Night

Sunlight-
And in the dizzying sunlight
I will not appear
You can wander 'round forever
But you will not find me near
In the burning sunlight
From the shadows I do see
That soon there will be darkness
And then is when you'll find me

Moonlight-
In the shallow moonlight
I'll sing to you a tune
My epitome of darkness
With such a baneful rune
In the slender rays of Moonlight
I'll disappear into the tide
And on the lips of sunlight
Will be my sweet goodbye

In The Wake Of Daylight-
And in the wake of daylight
I'll run, I'll leave without a sound
I'll kiss your lips goodbye
But leave not a footprint to the ground
I'll sing to you from the shadows
Yet be nowhere to be found
And in the wake of Darkness
I'll come back around

In The Wake Of Darkness-
And in the wake of darkness
I seek the shadows in your eyes
I push the smell of sweet surrender
Out of your torn life
I'll pull you through the cover
Of the siren's silent cries
And in the wake of daylight
I will whisper my last goodbye
