Sister Love Poem by Paula Hodges

Sister Love

It was Simon Le Bon who brought me to you;
For a love unconditional, that's all brand new.

I can't believe I'm so beloved;
From so far away, a sister to love.

Cause you love unconditionally true;
As a sister, friend, plus Simon too.

I hope one day we will be able to hug;
Instead of in a dream, a dream so loved.

I can tell you my every thought;
And you'll still love me, no matter what.

Even though we are miles apart;
I've never had a sister so close to my heart.

You will always be so dear to me;
Jutta, my sister, you are my family.

For my sister, Jutta Preitenwieser

Awww this is just so heartfelt, and a right tribute to Jutta. I have 4 sisters, and they may as well be strangers. But when you have a person who can be a sister to you, even from far away, then you have a confidant, a friend, a family member. Do you have Jutta's phone number? If you did, you could both talk to each other from time to time. Of course, not every day, because of the long distance bill, but just every now and then when you need someone to confide in. This is a very well written poem, about love and friendship. Thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
