Sitting Cone Waiting Poem by Manonton Dalan

Sitting Cone Waiting

beneath cotton threads peace
ribbons of cold passing mesh
steamy breathe crown my head
crystal dew falling from bead
loving tail curls around leg
ready to paunch intruder's face

roofs of needles from pine trees
whistling mightily with breeze
murmurs of lord's loving cares
wards off tiny bites; i desist
calmness dares to come a kiss
to welcome morning bright rays
