Sitting On Sidelines Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sitting On Sidelines

Feeling the loneliness of humanity, sitting
on sidelines, watching incessant struggles
happening within each individual without any
reason or logic, haranguing me.

Being striped of the haggard senses of daily
living, replacing them with the vibrant and
tantalizing portrayal of rhythms.

All are coming to the surface to taunt my
passion, living for the impossibilities that
are strewn across my being.

Grasping onto them and enjoying the ride
through imagination's creativeness.
