Sixty Foot Goddess Poem by Ellen Shaw

Sixty Foot Goddess

Imagine me as a sixty foot statue of a goddess
With only my sandaled feet for you to kiss,
Would you still barter and bargain
And try to force me into a commitment
That I would agree to if not for the pressure
With my proud set features
And full lips parted
Would you come when I simply beckoned
Without any questions
Without trying to force me into
An agreement that takes away all fun
Imagine me as a sixty foot goddess
Just obey my every command

Your 'Goddess' made me smile. I think I 'got it.'
