Skeleton In The Cupboard Poem by David Harris

Skeleton In The Cupboard

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes we run away
from things real and imaginary.
It doesn’t matter how far that we run,
a day will come
when the past catches up to you.
We always think
our skeletons in the cupboard
are always very safe.
Then one day in the future
someone will open the wrong door
and our skeleton in the cupboard
will be revealed forever more.

we all have that now don't we...human frailty and the mistakes we make...it's sad that if those skeltons from our PAST do arise..that some will still judge us for them...and not look past them..for what we are now or have become...good thinker David....I'm getting near the end of my list.....hehehe
