Skunky Tries To Get To Sarah Poem by Sue Chevalier

Troll made a mote around the castle of Sarah Star
he has to protect her from Skunky's paws with sticky tar.
See one night Skunky tried to get into Sarah's Star place…
but lucky John the Troll squirting him in the face.
He squirted Skunky with his Troll cologne
it makes Skunky smell like a weird elf but not a gnome.
See Troll knows what Skunky did write
Skunky wrote a fake letter and hid it out of sight.
Then Skunky took it to Sarah who was mad as could be
not at Troll for she knew Skunky wrote it deliberately.
Skunky tried to say Troll wrote the note
a note that had Troll spying on Skunky from remote.
Troll couldn't write a letter to save his life
no Troll can't even spell a letter let alone write.
See Troll knows what Skunky is all about
Skunky went to Jimmy Dean with the fake note
and Skunky persuades Jimmy with a shout.
Jimmy doesn't know Troll can't even write a letter
the kind that would make Sarah Star feel better.
Troll can only defend her at her gate
keep away scroundrels who want to seal the deal
with Sarah Star's fate.
