Sleepless Nights Poem by Caitlin Walls

Sleepless nights give me time to wonder why
Sleepless nights give me time to sit and cry
I know you still like me, I hope you still care
But sometimes I get selfish and think its not fair
I know you want time to be with your friends
I’m just afraid this is the end
Hand in hand we walked together both broken
Both broken but together we were healed
Only in fairytales could that have been real
Don’t let my fairytale disappear
Thinking about it keeps me up at night, its something I fear
Just because you want time doesn’t mean you should push me away
Just know I’m still here, I still care, that’s all I pray
