The shadow
that parts us
..........is slight.
starting
With not even
a whisper
.....of darkness.
We are.......
all but the pair
that fate
.........decreed.
.Not distance
but love...........
brings us
..........nearer,
indeed
a breath.......
of remembered
summertime
.......air
gives no
slighter
......a shadow
that
somewhere
Keeps us
apart.
A mere.........
heartbeat away
Is where......
we are
..........now.
and where
we will
.........stay.
