Slim & Chubby Poem by Kealeboga Malejane

Slim & Chubby

Rating: 4.0

Has anyone ever given you a taste of life; life ‘echo' (Subconscious asks)
Maybe sour somewhat bitter-sweet
With a bit of chilly-weed
To take you high beyond the sky
& back, below…beneath your solid ground
Cut you to size; size ‘echo'
Let's pull on to my inter-session
Of questions or rather interrogation mania
Besides phobias
No fear, No dear
But um….

Have you ever gone to the extremes
Of intimacy with life
Just the two of you
Interchangeably chewing on an intimate conversation,
Consultation or negotiation may...be? ? ?
SLIM chance? ? ? (rhetorical, you begin to wonder)
Next to impossible may…be? ? ?

Have you the guts to stare into the eyes of life
& be in control
Or you the type; the type ‘echo', the kind
To vanish without a trace
Following what ‘THEY SAY' unchasing your own concept of ‘I SAY'
CHUBBY? ? ? Well cheeky! ! !
You either are or otherwise
Don't let this game push you into submission
(all figured, now out with it)

(Live, love, laugh) : -)
