Slipping Through My Fingers (Recommended) Poem by Ridah Ellahi

Slipping Through My Fingers (Recommended)

Slipping through my fingers
The last strings
That held the bond together
Complete
Now disintegrating
Slipping through my fingers
The remnants
Of the façade-the armor
Strong
Now demolishing
Slipping through my fingers
The last drop
Of the congealed blood
Flowing
Racing against time
