Smile Like You Mean It
Smile like you mean it
Brighten up your face
So wonderful, so full of love
My heart begins to race
I feel so safe
your eyes so warm
like the calm
before a storm
your dimple your smile
the shine in your eyes
my heart, it melts
i get butterflies
Just the thought of your smile
before i have seen it
fills me with joy
so smile like you mean it
Wonderfully done. You are so adept at writing clean, crisp poetry, The kind that make one want to read it over and over because it feels good and sounds great rolling off of the tongue. The dragon has breath fire of wonderment once again.

this is so good.- a heart yearning for another in a smile, that lives in the other. How so true - that a life does not belong to you but to another and in there it is supremely magnified and celebrated. oh, i like this.
