Smiles Poem by Rik Bertrand

Smiles

It's a wonder, a miracle, a simple smile,
That makes life so happy and free,
Incredible feelings deep inside,
When you let everyone, those smiles see.

Look into the eyes of a smiling face,
See the happiness and joy,
Know that the smile you see
Is not, in any way, a devils ploy.

Smiles overwhelm the givers heart
And the receiver's heart warms in return.
One smile can set the world a glow,
A vision for, that I will always yearn.

Ahh, the smiles on your faces,
The love and the grace,
The pure and simple passion,
A pure memory, I shall not erase.
