smiles aren't made from simplicity

little smiles,
big smiles,
smiles in between,
smiles aren't as simple as they seem.

smiles that make you grow, smiles that make your heart sing,
oh! the meaning of smiles,
tell me you know,
smiles aren't made from simplicity.

smiles go on for miles,
smiles go on forever,
smiles aren't made from simplicity

smiles are courageous,
smiles are contagious,
smiles at times are even flirtatious.
smiles aren't made from simplicity.

your smile is beautiful
unique,
complete,
your smile makes you who you are.
smiles just simply aren't made from simplicity.

note: frowns make you down so shed a little light and turn it around.

Poem of the Day

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
