Snack At Night Poem by jasmine waltho

I woke up and wanted some thing to eat
So down stairs I quietly sneaked
I opened my door so very slow
Quietly I walked on tip toe

I stood on the landing on the top stair
So far no one has noticed me there
I made my way slowly to the bottom stair
Feeling so lucky I made it down there

I have to creep up after my fill
Hoping they were all asleep still
As I got nearer to the top of the stairs
I was getting so nervous and felt rather scared

I got to the bathroom and my mother woke up
She said who is out there is any thing up
I said I woke up to go to the loo
I'm so sorry for waking up you
