Snow Lay Round About Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Snow Lay Round About

Today we greet Christmas morning
Quite beautiful, glistening with snow,
The sky resembles a blue-silver cover
And the lawn, a carpet aglow.

Once more we thank the dear Saviour
Our carols, make reverence complete;
Decorations fulfil our wildest dreams
And mistletoe kisses are sweet.

Silently we offer a yuletide prayer
To The Holiest, the high 'Three in One'
Giving thanks for the glory of Christmas
And hope for the years yet to come.
