Snow White Beach Poem by Matthew Moser

Snow White Beach

Falling gentle, Floating just out of reach,
The cold air outside,
Goes inside me,
The smell of the salt,
Falling upon my breath,
Feeling the waves hit my feet,
And rise within my chest,
Feeling my heartbeat,
As I look out to sea,
White capped Splendor,
Waving back at me,
Behind me, Underneath the snow so white,
Are the dark sands of earth,
Reaching for the night,
Beneath the cold light blank surface,
Lies a heavier warmer side,
That cradles all the waters of the earth,
As soaks up the tide,
It breathes it in,
And allows it to ease back,
Seep away to where it's meant to be,
Regardless if it is unable to hold it for long,
The Earth always was in love with the Sea
