Snow White Glory Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Snow White Glory

Look from my casement, you will see
A carpet of pure snowy white,
Glistening there in majesty
And oh, what a picturesque sight
Glowing brightly for our delight.

Yesterday, it was dark and drab
A kind of dull dankish green,
And without the sunbeams shining
How miserable was the wintery scene.
Until snow brought her radiant sheen.

So winter reigns in all her glory
When summer can seldom compete.
Though on a brilliant day in June
An emerald lawn like a satin sheet
Will lay beneath our feet.

Look from my window and you will see
A carpet of pure snowy white,
Glistening there in majesty
And oh, what a picturesque sight
Glowing brightly for our delight.
