Snowflake Poem by richardo posto

Snowflake

Rating: 4.5

Autumn's bare tree limbs leap up

black veins cracking a white sea

lazy snow falling

whispering quiet thunder

Occasional leaf hangs on

mocking Autumn's cruel sentance

girls and boys below

secure in fur coat's snug embrace

Eyelashes catch

Tongues taste flakes turned moist and flowing

awakening laughter

refreshed alive and knowing

forgetting cold wet feet

snowflake
