Snowman Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Snowman

Snowman

I made snowmen galore.
It was a snowy lure
To pick-up snow
And pack it up tight.

First the snow had to be rolled
In a not so big a ball.
Then it had to be rolled
Into a larger one, not small.

The carrot pair nose
And the eyes made of coals
And the scarf made of wool
Made the snowman so white.

I liked my snowman so much
That I hugged and kissed him a lot.
So he crumbled and fell apart
But I still kissed him, then all his parts I sought.
