So Be Poem by alexandria hacker

So Be

Rating: 5.0

Let it be so
that life is done in repetition
that may we die
and become infant again.

Have you ever seen freedom
or survived vast revelries
in which we lack redemption?

Have you ever felt the rhythmic beats
of summer music pounding in your chest?

Can you perceive like Huxley
and still remain idle?

So let it be that
the stone yet be removed
before they bury you with confused martyrs.

What do you see
when you close your eyes?
Are you watching your brain?
Do you know the universe?
When you wake up
are you a stranger again?

Let it be so
that these words provide meaning
may you perceive with pencil in hand.

Were you really born to live?
Is all that space behind your eyes
not enough to remember
birth
death
reincarnation?

Can you subside to the image of God
and become invisibly existent?
Can you?
Will you?
and if so,
let it be so.

Wow! A poem to get the old brain's ticker to click in gear at an over timed pace. Think, think, think! Ow, my head hurts from all the exertion. Good poem. God bless and best regards-Mike Gale.
