I know that I asked
For Him to make you leave
And now that you have
I'm just not quite ready

To remember and feel
The aching eyes that are wet
To fear that there will be
A day when I will forget

And I cannot hide the tears
Now that you are gone
I want the whole world to
Feel this hurt that is pressing on

My heart still remembers
It's very painful last break
But now I have to relive it all
And I don't know if my soul will take.
