So Full Of You Poem by Dónall Dempsey

So Full Of You

Rating: 5.0

Always so
much of you
around

when you are not
around!

Here
an earring

blooming
at the side of the sink

a knocked over bottle of perfume
beautifying the air

a forgotten panties

fragile
as cobweb

adorning the bedroom mirror

reflecting
upon itself

here
a nylon stocking

slinking along a bookshelf

a snake reaching for the Shakespeare

a suspender belt
crowning a Bible
a bra
becoming a mountain range

its twin peaks
reflected in a lake of mahogany

a broken cigarette like a swan
floats by

your footsteps... echoing down the path
then echoing...back up again

breathless the door
opens again with a bang!

“I forgot to give you
a kiss! ”

A kiss
is deposited

upon my naked behind

the only flesh
straying out of bedclothes.

And then
you’ve gone again.

A human storm.

The room
(as always)

so
full of you.

What a charmer...the poem, Silly...the poem! ! Well, maybe the poet too! Love the tactile bits of this poem...the sight, the smells, and finally...the touch!
