So Hard Poem by Joubert Beaubrun

So Hard

Finding love was suppose to be easy
Like an evening walk in the park
Not Jurassic park
So many obstacles like I was in Iraq
So hard as if I was trying to be the fist black president like Barack Obama
Why is it so freaking hard
To find a girl that you can love and get love in return
Sometime, I wonder if I did something wrong in my past life
Where’s Cupid when you need him
I can’t wait to find my one true love
I’ll be waiting on the street corner with a sight that read I’ll work for love
I’ll be willing to give my life
All I want in return is love
