So I Can Be Full Grown Again

i meet them only once
and miss them more than
many times
in my mind how can
i begin to get rid
of each face
that clings to my heart
like leaves
that climbs to the mind
like vines
i am happy
to love and be a loser
once again
to such a pain as
beautiful as a longing
as sad
as shedding skin
so i can be
full grown again
