So maybe there's this guy,
this guy I kind of like.
What if I gave it a try,
sometimes I wonder with a sigh.

Do you think, maybe he likes me, too?
This certain guy, I mean.
I absolutely think his heart is true,
but is dating really his scene?

We don't talk very much,
but he's always smiling.
Sometimes we grin and such,
my heart just spiraling.

I know I told my cheer coachI thought he was nice,
but that was a while back.
Whispering quiet as mice,
realizing my thought went slack.
