today must be happy day
birds are all in play
teasing each others flight
buzzing through feather thin
chase would go on and on
with songs beyond my own
break would be picking berry
so plentiful in every twigs

i sat there watching trying
to decipher what are they saying
short burst warbling, repeating
chirps then spread their wings
could be me they are talking
then they fly around in circle
putting me inside of their loop
oh! my i could be part of them
