So Little In Common Poem by Francis Duggan

So Little In Common

Rating: 5.0

We Do look at life one might say differently
I am not the person you think me to be
Your sense of values are so very different to mine
That you and I have little in common does suit me fine
When we meet 'tis only hello or good day
That is all to each other we do have to say
You believe that there are too many trees in the park of the town
And that all old growth trees are for humankind to be cut down
I cannot say with you that I do agree
You do look at Nature quite Differently to me
That we depend on Nature for our survival you do not seem to realize
To you she is for us for to utilize
So little in common we do seem to share
And sad to think people like you are not rare.
