She is forgotten and unwanted
She's still iving in the past unable to move on
They broke up long ago, but he's the guy she still longs for
She goes to see him, the guy she once fell for..the one she still loves
She needs to know if he ever loved her, because it's killing her inside
They see each other, but he barely even recognizes her
He might have cared for before, but that was so long ago
What does she want now, he wonders
She never got the clue, never understood they were but a mistake
She holds her head up high, but she's nothing but a mess inside
She's trying to hold back the tears behind a smile as she walks towards him
Years have gone by, but she's still infatuated with him
'Did you ever love me? ' she finally asks
'Yeah...' He replies 'I did'
In her heart she knows that this is a lie
She nods and turns to walk away with a single tear on her rosy cheek
He looks after her, and waves goodbye
'Wonder why she came to ask me that? ' He ponders with out a care as she leaves his sight
