So Long We Are Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

So Long We Are

Rating: 5.0

It was beautiful flower
That lay on ground floor
As if pride of garden
That was witnessed sudden

Do we need to tell?
The life has same tale
To vanish so soon
At any time in noon

Yes, the message is clear
We all must fear
Beauty can never be forever
Anytime it will fade and disappear

Enjoy when it is fresh
Not to pluck but always praise
It has magic charm
Cause no harm

That shall remain beautiful
So long we are watchful
The moment we disregard
It shall fall downward

So very much truth written in these lines. Beauty does fade over time. Well done!
