So Many Things Poem by King Midas

So Many Things

Rating: 5.0

So many things I'd like to say to you
But it's not like my words matter anyway
So many things I'd like to share with you
But when I'm close you always fade away

And I said I'm sorry
For what I have done to you
But I didn't know then
How much I could hurt you

Shamed by the way we fell into dust
Sickened by the way I still crave your touch
Saddened by the way that I let you go
Haunted by your presence that I'll never know

But I said I'm sorry
For what I have done to you
But I didn't know then
How much I could love you
