So Much More Poem by Perry Biggerstaff

So Much More

So much more, them ever dreamed of.
So much more than my best friend.
Not believing worldly wisdom,
That once love starts the friendship ends.

So much more than we expected.
So much more than 'here' and 'now'.
To realms unused to mortal measure,
And not confined by where or how.

So much more than wishes...wonder,
When expectations placed so high,
Are surpassed by love unhindered,
Not once constrained by when or why.

So much more than 'wife' or 'husband'.
Emotions felt, out of control.
So much less, when not together.
Apart we're broken...together whole.

So much more, yet more expected.
Moments...memories still in store.
I won't promise you forever.
No...I promise...so much more.

When not expecting anything of one another that is the key to happiness. Such wonderful words expressed. Straight from the heart. Thank You
