I don’t exactly remember
Might be sometime in the summer
I had been real awful to you
What? I really wish I knew!

I stayed very close and near
When the others shunned you away
But then I too left
Betraying your only trust

I broke your only hope
The one you traced to smile
I left you lost, alone and scared
When I could have actually stayed!

I see you every day at school
But there’s something keeping apart
You’re holding hands of another friend
You are so near…yet so far…

I chose some boy over you
My mistake, I know now.
Hope you forgive and forget too
Because to err, all humans do

I miss your priceless phone calls
Talking hours on the cell
And laughing all together
While the phone bills brake the ceiling!

I miss your smile that brightened my day
And your lovely treasured hugs
Your hot gossips, your fragrance, your joy
I miss them all, I do!

I am right now waiting for a call from you
Saying that you miss me too
