Blue green eyes, so pretty when she cries,
a pair of sparkling emeralds.
A kind and gentle soul on earth,
an angel sent from heaven.

If only I were young again,
young enough, to love her.
If only in my dreams again,
one more time, then never

And as I sit, and as I cry
watching from my window.
looking back on an empty life
sharing a bed with only pillows.
