So Sweet The Air Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

So Sweet The Air

Rating: 5.0

So sweet the air you sing for me
Yhe words do touch my heart,
The story so emotional
Of lovers that do part.

The melody and voice so pure
Float through the dead of night,
Its beauty and its gentle phrase
Await the morning light.

To bid farewell as love does shine
For me the words so true,
Alas the comfort it does bring
Yields sadness I once knew.

So sweet the air you sing for me
Its cadence so divine,
I ask you sing it one more time
My love is surely thine.
