So The Other May Live Happily Poem by Eman Awad

So The Other May Live Happily

Rating: 5.0

I can't love you back,
i can't make you happy and forget my self.
I won't look back,
if we can't be together, you'll be needing help...

He told me that before,
and he lived happily on my ashes and my tears.
Ever since and my life is soar,
such a soarness that won't be erased by years.

It's so strange how love goes,
i've sacrifised just about every thing for him.
And daily, my love yet grows,
his smiles and the sweet words, i couldn't forget them.

Lingering how the words were said,
i know i'll make you happy but i want that too.
I feel like we've reached an end which's dead,
and i'll be happy if i went on and left you...

And you will be like me now,
sacrifising your happiness for the sake of me.
You'll heal one day, some how,
and it's all, so the other may live happily...
