Social Comment – Social Media Poem by Paul Warren

We are in the information age it is sure to see
Where you have to sift through to find the truth to be
When Prime Ministers rise and fall
On what they said or what is said about them all
I don’t think any of us has completely learnt how
To troll through the garbage and find the truth now
It seems to me that it is easy such an easy thing to do
To put something on Facebook around the world that flew
And it doesn’t have to be the truth just a good story
That people will read to be drowned or find glory
So please when you read these stories on your phone
Think of the truth and your mind will not roam.
