Society Poem by Electric Tripp

Society

Society, a reflection of ourselves reflecting on us all
Society, our product to produce the individual

What makes your rules better than mine?
Just because I wasn't born on time
That doesn't mean you have a better mind
So, what makes your rules holier than mine?

Society, reflecting ourselves to the world
Society, mirrors our image back to us

Why can't I change the world at 19?
Do you think I'm too young to make the scene?
Or am I too young to have that dream?
Society isn't what it seems

Society, a reflection of ourselves
Society, producing the individual
Society, reflecting ourselves to the world
Society, mirrors our image back to us
Society, reflects the actions of the majority
Society, it's how we change the world
