Soft Nite Poem by poetic bible

Soft Nite

Rating: 4.5

Night comes soft,
This is the hard daylight's end,
Sleep toadying gently over all,
Bees go to hive,
Birds fly to nest,
And the pale moon shadows dim.
The globe lies cloaked in slumber,
Stars stand guard in the heavens,
Till dawn steals up to banish darkness,
I won't wait till the sun sets inparadise,
I must close my somnolent eyes,
And board a flight to dreamlands,
Lope to Safe dreams,
Nope! nightmares,
Peace unto you, my friend,
Night comes soft,
It's daylight's end.
