Soggy Boxes Poem by Marijke McKinney

Soggy Boxes

Living in made-up stories
And when we grow up
It’ll never be enough

So happily
Two wishes form
Into such a believable reality

So happily
We wrote scribbles
Inside out teeny heads

Playground boxes
Soggy homes
Going to buy a condo
With a business loan
