Solace Poem by Louise Witwit

Solace

As I seek solace
The arms that hold me
The hands that stroke my face
softly and gently

The body that is close to mine
The lips that touch mine
So gentle and kind

You are the solace
Of which I seek
The gentle, soft caress
That makes me sleep

In you arms I want to be
To be held so softly
never letting go
As you are the solace of which I seek

I love reading poems like these, because they are so soft, sensuously romantic, and from the heart. It makes me glad that I am alive when I read from hearts that write poems like this. I am giving you a 10 for this, and thank you so much for sharing, and for the smile. Love & hugs, Barbara
